Needs an ear. A model read the notes off the binder photo; nobody has played it back against the sheet yet. The chords are the ones printed on the sheet. Confidence: medium.

Transcriber's notes (which bars to listen to)

Handwritten, legibility good, no credit printed. Checker clean (34 bars incl. 2-beat pickup as bar 1). Doubtful bars: (1) bar 3, 11 'Bm D4 d2' and bars 5/13 (A hollow half + G quarter) read from low-contrast hollow heads; bar 13 is the last bar of staff 1 and its final G head sits against the page edge/binder strip with no stem visible -- read as a plain quarter. (2) bars 7-9: D4 + F quarter, then E dotted-half, then G dotted-half under A7; all hollow-dotted heads, dots clearly visible but ledger/position of E (bottom line) and G (4th line) worth an ear check. (3) bar 22 read as hollow A half + A quarter (second head same height) while the parallel bar 30 is A half + G quarter -- transcribed as printed, but the two are probably meant to differ only slightly; check by ear. (4) bars 16-17: D dotted-half tied to a D quarter, then a quarter rest; bar 17 is only 2 beats. A thin+thick (final-style) bar follows, then a one-beat pickup A (bar 18); the 3 beats of bar 17 + 18 divide as 2 + 1. (5) bars 25-26: E dotted-half tied (arc above the staff) to E half. (6) bar 2 has pencil marks above (a small x scribble and a pencil circle round the G head; a vertical pencil line below) -- not transcribed. A black ink blot is under bar 31 where a chord was inked out; no chord given for that bar. A pencil arc sits over the final double bar (bar 34). Chords as written: D, Bm, A7, Em, E7, G.

Press play and the notes light up as they sound. Chord names above the staff are coloured by their root letter (the same colours as the song sheets). “Standard” and “Richer” are General-MIDI stand-ins hosted elsewhere; “Scruffy” is our own bank rendered from open sample sets (credits at /soundfont/scruffy-v1/CREDITS.md). Tempo slider is the “warp” control in the player.

Where it came from, where it went

How this setting was made. The notes and chord symbols are read from the band binder sheet (photo IMG_0268), by a model reading the photograph on 2026-10-27. The sheet's own chords are carried over unchanged. Nobody has yet played it back against the sheet: treat every note as a draft until it has been checked by ear.
